2008 Saab Aero spy photos

Pictures of the upcoming 2008 Saab 9-3 have previously been shown on CarUpdate, you can click on the link to see them. Saab have turned these pictures into old news by releasing their own official pics and press release. What Saab haven't shown anyone officially at this point is the rump or rear view of their new baby. Have they got something to hide, is there something crook in the caboose?

These photos were snapped by a canny Swede in of all places Switzerland. Spotted conveniently sitting near the fence, just perfect for some slightly out of focus pre-official photo photos...

The photos give us a good eyeball of the rear quarter section, clear tail lights and reworked bumper. This example of the 2008 Saab 9-3 is believed to be the Aero which will be fitted with a 186kW V-6 and automatic transmission. Will the new (to Saab) Haldex AWD system be fitted to the Aero? We hope so.
