The RS6 Avant was already well endowed, featuring a derivative of the twin-turbo V10 power plant found in the Lamborghini Gallardo, but German tuners MTM decided 580hp (432.5kW) was simply not enough. 702hp (523.4kW), however, has a much better ring to it, don’t you think?

It’s frighteningly simple too. MTM have only gone as far as tinkering with the ECU, adding a stainless steel exhaust and swapping out the air filter to reach the mammoth power figures. To match the increased output, MTM is also offering some understated carbon fibre aero components, a new set of brakes - thank god, revised suspension and 21-inch wheels, let’s hope they come with some fat rubber too.

Forget capable family commuter, the MTM RS6 Avant is all-out insanity. (I hope those claw marks don’t damage the leather…)
