Some of you may not be familiar with this particular racing franchise, but if you’ve even heard of the Midnight Club games (published by Grand Theft Auto 4’s Rockstar) you’d know that it’s a worthy (if somewhat underrated) alternative to the Need for Speed Underground games released a few years ago on PS2 and Xbox.
Fresh from the Rockstar website, we have a new trailer for the latest in the series, Midnight Club: Los Angeles. You can see a handful of the cars that will feature in the full game, namely the Mercedes-Benz S-Class, Audi R8 and Saleen Mustang S302.

I have to admit, I’ve never been a massive fan of The Fast and the Furious-inspired games, preferring to err on the side of realism with the PlayStation’s Gran Turismo, and the XBox’s Forza and Project Gotham Racing. But as a guilty pleasure, this looks like it could be enough fun to check out! Stay tuned for a full review mid-October on TMR.
On top of all that, keep an eye out for our review of Codemaster’s RaceDriver GRID, and your chance to win a copy of the game for the PS3!
