Chevrolet has released a new teaser for its upcoming 2013 Corvette, but the big coupe may already be out of the bag.
While the new video offers another shadowy preview, this time of the cabin, a new leaked illustration offers a purported first look at the new Corvette's face.
According to automotive photoshop Chris Doane, the image comes from GM's service manual, appearing unexpectedly in his email inbox this week.
If the artwork is accurate, the new Corvette will retain much of its trademark styling cues, while adopting larger headlights and a more curvaceous supercar look.
GM has so far revealed that the 2013 Corvette will draw power from the new Gen5 LT1 V8 engine, producing at least 335kW and 610Nm.
A 0-100km/h time of under 4.0 seconds has also been promised, bettering the 4.2 time of the current model.
Earlier teaser videos have revealed a new all-digital instrument display, and the car has also surfaced as a playable - but camouflaged - option in Sony's Gran Turismo 5 video game.
The new Corvette is expected to debut at January's Detroit Auto Show.
