Get the best price on a new Jaguar
Jaguar has given future buyers a taste of what its new F-Type roadster has to offer, sending a trio of professional drivers to flog it around the track.
Shot before the car's official unveiling, this clip sees Martin Brundle, Christian Danner and Justin Bell hammer the new topless sports car on the Snetterton 300 circuit, and surrounding roads.
The hotly anticipated F-Type made its local debut at this year's Australian International Motor Show, in an unveiling presided over by designer Ian Callum and Jaguar's Global Operations Director Phil Popham.
The F-Type will be available in Australia next year with three supercharged engines - two V6s in 250kW and 280kW trim, and a V8 kicking out 365kW and 625Nm of twist.
The 'slowest' F-Type rockets to 100km/h in 5.1 seconds while the V8 dispatches th for a 4.2 second time.
All will come with the eight-speed automatic, no manual transmission is planned.
The F-Type's aluminium chassis is claimed to be 30 percent stiffer than anything else offered by Jaguar, which bodes well for the handling.
Australian pricing and availability is not yet announced but with the car's release not far away, it won't be too much longer.
