According to Automotive News, Kia will be bringing a production version of the Koup Concept to market in 2009. The stunning concept was first revealed at last years New York Auto Show and it will lend its dynamic styling to a new production sedan and coupe, destined for the U.S. market.
First cab off the rank will be the sedan with the coupe version to follow a few months down the track. Making room for the new coupe and sedan in Kia’s US lineup will be the current Spectra hatchback, which Kia is expected to drop entirely from its US range.
If Kia can bring a production version of the Koup Concept to market without departing too far from the styling of the concept and combine it with the quality and dynamics for which their cee’d has won acclaim, then we suspect that it will have itself a sales success.

BRAVO……class, sporty and massive style to attract buyers in droves. Sure beats driving a Corolla and bland boring cars! Nail the price KIA and offer massive inclusions and sales will cometh!
She’s certainly a hottie!
Not a bad looker, but I find the styling a bit derivative of the most recent Civic hatch and Integra/RSX.
Front 1/4 view looks alot like the previous [generation] Ford Mustang. whilst the back looks like the last Honda Integra
Best Kia i have ever seen ! I agree Naughtyius Maximus would crap all over a corolla…..
I’m pretty sure Honda UK wants their Civic coupe concept back.
