Toyota's special-edition Altitude badge has returned for another run on the big LandCruiser 200 Series, bringing a number of new features to the regular GXL trim grade.
The carmaker says it has added over $4000 in treats, including 18-inch alloy wheels - borrowed from the VX and Sahara models - and a black-accented cabin.
There's also a cooler box and power-operated driver and front-passenger seats, roof rails and an Altitude badge at the rear.
Offered with Toyota's 195kW twin-turbo V8 diesel and automatic transmission, the LandCruiser Altitude is priced at $90,490 plus on-roads - up from the regular GXL model's $88,490 sticker.
Colour options include Silver Pearl, Graphite, Shimmer, Crystal Pearl and Eclipse Black, with the last two options previously available with the VX and Sahara models only.
The return of the Altitude package follows the launch earlier this year of the updated-for-2012 LandCruiser range, bringing a handful of new features and minor styling tweaks.
