Suzuki has handed down a third teaser image for its all-new crossover concept bound for next month's Paris Motor Show.

Dubbed S-Cross, the new compact SUV will preview Suzuki's first all-new global model since last year's Swift light hatch, and the Kizashi sedan in 2010.

When the S-Cross makes the leap to production status, expect it to take on the likes of the Nissan Dualis and the Kia Sportage.

Where the S-Cross will fit into the Suzuki line-up is unclear: it could sit between the next SX4 and the Grand Vitara midsizer, or it could replace the SX4 altogether.

Spy photos of a Suzuki-badged compact SUV in July, thought to be a new SX4, also appears likely to be the production version of the S-Cross.

  Perhaps it will take on the Soul and the Juke?
  The headlights and DRL's look great, I hope the style carries on to Suzuki's next small car updates.

  I hope they stick closely to the sketch and picture of the concept car, because that is a very distinctive and aggresive looking car. I'd definitely have to check one out in person. If it ends up being similar to the new Kizashi in quality and handling/performance, I will consider it for my new next car without a doubt!
