Kia has released a trio of new teasers for its 2013 Rondo mini-MPV, just weeks out from its unveiling at the upcoming Paris Motor Show.

The images follow the release last month of two telling sketches, along with photos of the next-generation Cerato sedan and the almost-all-new 2013 Sorento SUV.

Borrowing heavily from the look of its new European-market Cee'd range, the new Rondo will feature sweptback headlights, the familiar 'tiger nose' grille and a long sloping windscreen and glasshouse.

Like the comparatively dowdy first-generation model it replaces, the new Rondo has been designed with a people-moving focus.

Kia says the new Rondo - built to a "responsive space" strategy - will ride on a longer wheelbase than its predecessor, so expect a roomier cabin with seating for up to seven.

And while they might be a little exaggerated, the large wheels in the concept illustrations aren't purely for art's sake: the new Rondo will offer sizes up to 18 inches.

Watch for more details as the new Rondo nears its Paris Motor Show debut this month, and expect to see it in Australia in early 2013.
