Mazda is leaving little to the imagination when it comes to its new 2013 Mazda6 family car, with a fourth new teaser video handed down this week.
Offering a look at the new car's grille and headlights, the first video - released earlier this month - suggested that the new Mazda6 will look largely identical to the Takeri concept.
The second clip offered a cropped glimpse of the new car's profile, revealing the same heavily-sculpted character lines featured on the Takeri.
The theme continued in the third video, revealing that the Takeri's tail-lights will carry over almost unchanged, featuring the same slender style and silver garnish merging into the lens space.
Now, Mazda has revealed the full profile view of the new 6, confirming that there will be little to separate the new sedan from its popular concept forebear.
Mazda however has taken pains to ensure that fans don't mistake the videos for just another Takeri promo, titling the 20-second teasers: "All-New Mazda6, not TAKERI".
The release of the clips follow spy photos of a lightly-camouflaged 2013 Mazda6 Touring wagon, revealing the car in its final form. Previous test cars had used the body of the current-generation Mazda6.
Technologies in the new Mazda6 will include the carmaker's new SkyActiv engines, transmissions and lightweight construction techniques, along with a new i-ELOOP capacitor-based kinetic energy regenerative braking system.
The 2013 Mazda6 will be unveiled at September's Paris Motor Show. Watch for an Australian debut to occur early in 2013.
