Get the best price on a new Mercedes-Benz
Mercedes-Benz has published images and details of the upcoming AMG version of the recently unveiled CLS Shooting Brake model.
As expected, the high performance version of the coupe-esque wagon uses the same 386kW 5.5 litre twin-turbo V8 as its booted CLS 63 AMG sibling, with matching AMG-specific body adornments - just with an extended roof and tailgate.
The information was available for mere hours on the manufacturer’s German website, with the page replaced by a ‘Dokument nicht gefunden’ (document not found) message this morning.
This leak comes just days after the CLS 63 AMG Shooting Brake made a surprise appearance at the weekend’s Goodwood Festival of Speed, performing runs up the hill climb wearing camouflage.
Mercedes-Benz Australia has confirmed the CLS63 AMG Shooting Brake will be available locally, after the rest of the Shooting Brake range arrives late this year.
