Offering an undisguised look at the new Clio's exterior styling, these leaked images show the new light hatch from the front and rear, along with a birdseye view of the car decked out in a sports livery.
Inside, the 2013 Clio is a portrait of simplicity, with a spartan dash layout set off by a gloss-black finished to the centre stack, dominated by a large colour display.
According to French website Le Moniteur Automobile, which unearthed the images today, the new Clio will launch in Europe with a number of petrol and diesel engines.
The report claims that the range will kick off with a turbocharged 0.9 litre three-cylinder petrol engine producing 66kW and 135Nm of torque, with fuel consumption listed at 4.3 l/100km.
A 1.5 litre four-cylinder turbodiesel follows, delivering the same 66kW (torque not revealed), with fuel consumption listed at a low 3.2 l/100km.
The report adds that transmission options will include manual and dual-clutch automatic transmissions.
Watch for more details on the new Clio to come in the next day.
