Bentley has revealed details of its fastest series-production model yet: the new Continential GT Speed.
Revealed at this year's Goodwood Festival of Speed, the new GT Speed is powered by an uprated version of Bentley's W12 engine, boosting power from 430 to 460kW - just 3kW short of the Continential Supersports.
With power sent to all four wheels through the familiar eight-speed ZF automatic - now available with the regular GT and GTC - Bentley promises a 0-100km/h time of four seconds dead - an incredibly sharp time for the 2300kg coupe.
Top speed is a heady 330km/h.
The new eight-speed ZF auto also offers a 'block shift' ability, switching instantly from eighth to fourth gear for quicker acceleration.
Bentley says it has also achieved a 12 percent improvement in fuel consumption, although exact figures have not been released. (And we suspect buyers couldn't care less.)
The chassis has also been given a going-over, including revised air suspension and dampers and a 10mm lower ride height.
The Continental GT Speed is propped up by new 21-inch Speed wheels, shod with 275/35 Pirelli P Zero tyres.
In the cabin, the GT Speed is decked out in the new Mulliner Driving Specification package revealed with the Mulsanne, along with a number of highlights unique to the Speed.
Styling tweaks are minimal, although there's a shadow tinted grille and lower intakes at the front, and a "rifled" finish to the exhaust tips.
Internationally, the big coupe's options include carbon ceramic brakes and hand-threaded top stitching on the seats.
