Toyota Australia has released a new styling and aerodynamics kit for its all-new 86 coupe, available for the top-shelf GTS specification.

Brandishing a tall rear-wing as its standout feature, the package also includes a new front bumper lip, side skirts and rear bumper skirt.

The front bumper-lip features vertical fins for additional control of air entering the front grille, along with dual 12-degree canards for optimised stability.

The side skirts are designed to assist airflow evaculation from the front wheel housing, while the rear bumper skirt works to manage air turbulence from the front of the car, while assisting in underbody airflow management.

The large rear spoiler features horizontal 'winglets' on the uprights, to help generate downforce and optimise handling stability.

Pricing

The 86 Aero Kit is available for $3000, exclusively for the up-spec 86 GTS model in manual and automatic form.

  Looks absolutely ghastly.
  Appealing though to the "sick brah" young people this car is attempting to sell to. I'd be first in line if it wasn't about to become a disaster with every second car sporting "fully sick" chrome 20 inch wheels and a massive cannon exhaust on the back.

  What an abomination, this Aero kit should be banned. Unless you're travelling at 300 Kph, those wings are useless.

  looks good except for the rear wing. should be able to buy the parts separate. some good kits available direct from Japan for alot cheaper too.

  Just had a test drive today on the GT must say about time its out sad to hear the back order is intill next year and they have no eta . Im a auto driver and the test car was a manual the gears was so close felt very awkward when I was changing gear im sure over time ill get used to it. The speed gage was set differently im going back to see if its worth spending the extra for the GTS im sure it is but a extra 10k might make me think. BUT A FRICKEN WELL DONE FOR TOYOTA ON THE $29,999 PRICE

  The kit overall look great withought the Rear Wing.
  
  Almost 360Z ish type of look, if you look at that picture again and then put your finger over the Rear Wing, it look outstanding, something a little more then BRZ.
  
  Plus if the Kit and Paint and labours is worth $2200 origianlly and Toyota is making about $800 on top.
  If you take the wing out and sell it on EBAY for $500, there is your money to buy Bridgestone
