The brand-new race track in Austin, Texas, will welcome the F1 world for the first time in November, but fans will get an even earlier run of the circuit.

Debuting in Codemasters' new F1 2012 video game in September, the Circuit of the Americas track will be completely playable as part of the simulator's full season racing features.

Before players can take it home, the F1 2012 sim will make its first appearance at next week's E3 games expo, and a trio of screenshots have been released today.

F1 2012 will be available on Sony's PlayStation 3 and Microsoft's XBOX 360 home consoles, along with the handheld PlayStation Vita and the Nintendo 3DS.
