Porschephiles rejoice: Hand over 20 bucks or 1600 Microsoft Points, and your Forza Motorsport 4 garage could be overflowing with 30 of Stuttgart's finest.

Previously blocked by a deal between the carmaker and gaming rights-holder Electronic Arts, Porsche's Forza 4 debut comes nearly 10 months after that game's international release.

Despite EA's exclusive rights to the Porsche brand in the gaming realm, earlier sub-leasing deals with Forza publisher Turn 10 had allowed a number of its models appear in previous chapters of the game.

Porsche's all-new 2012 911 had earlier debuted in EA's Need For Speed: Shift, marketed as a rival for the Microsoft-exclusive Forza and the Sony-exclusive Gran Turismo franchise.

There's a downside to all of this, however: many of the Porsche models featuring in Forza 4 will carry over from the third instalment in the franchise, and the brand-new 991 911 and Boxster models will not be among them. The 918 concept is also absent.

Cars new to the list include the 2012 911 GT2 RS, the Cayenne Turbo and 2011 Cayman R, and a handful of new track racers.
