Since releasing the first official pictures and launching a dedicated mini-site late last month, Ferrari have gone a little quiet on their latest product the California. We already know what makes this delectable drop-top move, but until now we haven’t been able to get a good look at the interior or engine bay of the California.
Thankfully the folk at Auto Bild have come to the rescue, releasing a slew of detailed pics showing the California from all angles, inside and out, top on and off, giving us our best look yet at Ferrari’s latest car well ahead of its September launch. Hit the jump to check ‘em out.
From the LCD display embedded in the instrument panel to the air-con vents that ‘pop’ out of the dashboard, the interior is very reminiscent of the top-o-the-line 599 GTB, the California’s bigger, more athletic sister.
Being the more modern car, the California benefits from a newer, swoopier centre console design and an in-dash navigation display, however the three-position Manettino switch reminds you that the California lacks the outright performance punch of the 599 or F430. With a body like that though, who cares?
Enjoy the pics.

Im going to go against the tide and say this car looks terrible. While that gorgeous front end raises the average, the side looks like its been slashed in a pub fight with a hint of Lexus coupe (a pretty car, it isnt) and that rear end…im hoping ferrari issue a media statement soon saying “that rear end, we were just joking, heres the real (good looking) one…”
Ferrari’are supposed to have graceful beauty. This one doens’t.
