The upcoming Kia Forte, successor to the Spectra—sold here in hatch form as the Cerato—has been receiving a surprisingly warm greeting online. This week, another sneak shot has been offered online, in the form of the teaser above. Evidently, the Forte will take many of its design cues from the Kia Koup concept, which we showed you back in ye olde March.

With hints of the Civic and the Accord Euro, it may not be the most unique face on the market, but it's certainly going to be a looker nonetheless. It looks as though the successful business strategy of parent company Hyundai has been filtering down through the whole business.

The Forte is expected to debut in Korea in August, with no word yet of an Australian appearance. Check out another preview shot/illustration after the jump.
