Taking on the best of Italy, Britain and Sweden, Spain's GTA Spano supercar has been wheeled out at the Geneva Motor Show in production guise this week.

Powered by a supercharged 8.3l V10, the carbon fibre coupe has 611kW and 960Nm to play with, even more power than the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta.

The kerb weight of just 1350kg also beats the F12 by an impressive 175kg. The bare monocoque weights just 56kg, almost 20kg less than a Lotus Elise's aluminium monocoque.

Getting all that power and torque to the road is a seven-speed paddleshift or sequential manual and the Spano is, of course, mid-engined and rear wheel drive.

The performance figures are as impressive as the weight and power, with 0-100km/h in 2.9s and a top speed of 350km.h.

Hauling the car back from these speeds is a set of whopping 380mm, six piston carbon ceramic brakes from AP Racing.

The clever tech doesn't stop with the powertrain and chassis. The car's glass roof has an in-built lighting system and the glass can be turned opaque at the touch of a button, no doubt to prevent the occupants from cooking.

The aero and ride height can be adjusted by the driver from inside the car and the LCD screen doubles as a rear-view mirror.

The company has not released any sales figures as yet. Just 99 of the Spanish supercars will be made, each of them to order and with a price that will no doubt make Sydney real estate look reasonable.
