Get the best price on a new Nissan X-Trail
Nissan has released a teaser video for an all-new SUV concept this week, hot on the heels of last month's next-generation Pathfinder "concept".
Dubbed Hi-Cross, the new showcar is expected to preview the next X-Trail, moving the midsized SUV away from the boxy design of the first- and second-generation models.
Evolving to a sleeker design will bring the new X-Trail in-line with the 2013 Pathfinder, which has adopted curvier lines in moving from a ladder chassis to a unibody (monocoque) platform.
Whether the X-Trail will hold onto its offroading name or take on the Hi-Cross moniker is unclear.
The new concept will debut at next month's Geneva Motor Show, where it will join the new Pathfinder and the recently-revealed Invitation hatch concept.
