SRT Viper Revealed Further With Tough New Face Shot

Chrysler's performance arm SRT has dropped a new teaser image for its all-new Viper muscle car, scheduled for an unveiling at this week's New York Auto Show.

Last week we were given a glimpse of the new Viper's cabin, and earlier images - both official and leaked - have revealed more than a little of the car's exterior.

Now, a new and final teaser image reveals one more look at the new snake's face, showing off its familiar bulbous roof and offering a new look at the intricate bonnet design.

The release of the new image also follows the recent online unveiling of the Viper's new badge mascot - the so-called 'Stryker'.

As with the evolutionary look of the new badge, the next-generation Viper is expected to stay true to the car's iconic styling, which hasn't changed much since the first Viper landed back in 1992.

Little else is known about the new Viper, although official word from Chrysler is that while the hero car will retain its raw driving experience, a suite of new driver aids will make it a genuine contender in the high-performance market.

Watch for more details on the new SRT-badged Viper to surface in the coming days.
