BMW's all-new 6 Series has now launched in three forms, including the Coupe, Convertible, and the recent four-door Gran Coupe style. A run of spy photos in recent months show that there are three still to come: the M cars.

While all variants of the M6 flagships have been spied on the road, the Coupe version is likely to be the first to hit the motor-show scene. According to enthusiast website BMWBlog, March's Geneva show has been locked in.

Power for the M6 is expected to come from the same 4.4 litre twin-turbo that drives the M5 sedan, along with the X5 M and X6 M SUVs, producing upwards up 415kW and 650Nm of torque.

The boosted V8 will likely send power to the rear wheels through the same seven-speed dual-clutch transmission used in the M5, with a 0-100km/h time between 4.4 and 5.0 seconds on the cards.

In the 5 Series version, the M deal includes a 250km/h top speed, boosted to 305km/h if you tick the "M Driver" package.

The debut of the new M6 will follow the 2010 retirement of the previous E63 model, which was powered by a 5.0 litre V10 engine that delivered 380kW and 520Nm of torque.
