Get the best price on a new Subaru Impreza
This won't surprise you: Subaru's stand at next month's Tokyo Auto Salon will focus on its all-new sports coupe, featuring the recent BRZ Concept STI and a pair of new BRZ design studies.
Joining the sharpened BRZ concepts will be the first STI-enhanced version of the new Impreza, featuring a host of styling and handling upgrades.
Among the Impreza STI tweaks will be an all-round styling kit and rear-wing package, along with a sports exhaust, a flexible tower bar, lowered sports suspension and 18-inch aluminium wheels.
If that package comes to showrooms, the already-confirmed separation of the WRX and WRX STI badges from the Impreza line suddenly seems easier to come to terms with.
Details of the second BRZ concept have not been revealed, but showgoers can look forward to an up-close look at the BRZ Concept STI's pumped guards and giant rear wing, along with the new BRZ GT300 racer that will compete in the 2012 Super GT series.
