Put the cheque book away, or hunt down a buyer and make a better offer: Australian and New Zealand supplies of the Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG Coupe Black Series have evaporated.

The C 63 AMG Coupe Black Series was revealed internationally in July and priced for Australia early last month, and now it's all gone.

That was quick.

Of course, you can bet that more than a few buyers would have slammed a "price is no object" deposit on the counter back in July, and a few dealers will no doubt have snapped one up at their leisure, also.

There's still hope for the hopeful, however, with Mercedes-Benz Australia promising to push for more units.

“I can’t say I’m surprised but we’re certainly overwhelmed by the quick response. We’ll continue to work with AMG to secure more vehicles as not only have we sold out of our C 63 AMG Coupe Black Series allocation, but we now have a wait list," Merc's Richard Emery said.

"At this stage we don’t know how many more we can secure, but I know the number of additional vehicles won’t be high due to global demand."

And if you still miss out, there's always the C 63 AMG Estate Black Series, caught testing by the TMR spies recently. Watch for that one to get an unveiling in the new year.
