Porsche has announced that it will reveal an all-new model at this month's LA Auto Show - and, for now, that's about all Stuttgart is giving out.

What can we expect? Porsche promises "impressive performance and dynamic looks", but the house of Ferdinand is rarely likely to say anything less for any of its cars.

An unveiling for the Cajun SUV this month would be too soon, and the production version of the 918 Spyder is more likely to get a Geneva or Frankfurt unveiling.

California is a land of sunshine, so our money is on the Cabriolet version of the all-new 911 revealed in August.

The 911 Cabriolet has been spied testing in camouflage over the past year - often alongside its hardtop sibling - and an unveiling any time in the coming months is likely.

The new 911 is already confirmed for its US-market debut at the LA show, so an appearance for the Cabrio is more than possible.

Of course, it could 'just' be the Carrera 4...
