The Tonight Show’s host, Jay Leno has just taken delivery of one of the first Dodge Challenger SRT-8’s, well actually number four to be precise. I’m not sure what the other guys on TMR think but for me, the new Challenger is the sexiest U.S. muscle car ever - what a damn shame they won’t be coming to Australia.
Anyway, watch Jay as he takes delivery of his personal Challenger SRT-8 from the local Dodge dealer and takes it out on the highway for a shakedown run. The fact that his Challenger only has a few miles on the clock doesn’t stop Jay from smoking the back wheels either - something that I always thought was an essential part of any comprehensive ‘running in’ program.
