The recipe for Andreas Fougner's concept is simple: take the long profile and fat haunches of the last Supra, add the sharp and modern lines of Toyota's FT-86 and FT-HS concepts, and spice it up with a dash of Lexus LFA.
Produced for enthusiast blog SpeedHunters (an offshoot of games house Electronic Arts), Fougner's concept is a little bit Audi, a little bit Aston - but it could easily be a new Toyota-badged hero, beyond the upcoming FT-86.
"My goal with this concept was to try and keep the DNA of the Supra mk4 but still create something new and fresh," Fougner says of his digitally crafted design.
"I wanted it to be classy, but at the same time sporty."
Talk of a new Supra has returned to the spotlight recently, with reports that Toyota CEO Akio Toyoda - a proper revhead himself - has quietly directed the company's engineers to begin development of a possible top-shelf coupe.
Whether Toyota will ever bring the Supra badge back to life remains to be seen, but as fans will attest, the car is too important to the brand's image for it to be consigned to the history books.
