With a pair of illustrations to whet the appetite, Jeep has announced this week that it will show six new vehicles at the Moab Easter Jeep Safari in Utah later this month.

Among the secret six will be two Wrangler concepts, dubbed Renegade and... Pork Chop.

While an all-new Wrangler is confirmed to be in development, the two concepts destined for Utah are based on the existing model - although, in the case of the red-on-white Pork Chop at least, they should still prove interesting.

Details of the all-new Wrangler remain thin on the ground, however Chrysler has confirmed the next-generation off-roader will retain its own 'go anywhere' platform, putting to rest fears that it would utilise a less-capable Fiat or Chrysler architecture.

Among its engine options will be Chrysler's Pentastar V6 petrol engine - already featured in a number of the company's newer models - and the all-new diesel engine driving the Grand Cherokee CRD will likely also appear.
