American skater and rally driver Ken Block has proven his skills and showmanship through his famous 'Gymkhana' videos, executing scripted drifts and doughnuts against all manner of backdrops.
Of course, like all professional drivers, Block is no less prone to error - as this new video shot at this week's Rally of Portugal.
In 2010, Block switched allegiances from Subaru to Ford, announcing with the Monster Rally team that he would contest selected rounds of the World Rally Championship in a Ford Focus.
Outside of his WRC commitments, Block has also been racing the smaller Ford Fiesta in the Rally America Championship, and it's that car the stars in this new video.
To Block's credit, its his first major crash in a World Rally car, but it also means he won't be competing in this weekend's Portugal event.
After a trip to the hospital, both Block and his co-driver Alex Gelsomino were pronounced fit and well, suffering only minor injuries.
