Renault Australia has today announced the addition of the two-wheel-drive Expression variant to the Koleos range, bringing the compact SUV under $30,000 for the first time. The Expression enters the line-up just four months after the model's 2010 update.
Joining the range as the new entry-level model, the Koleos Expression 4x2 2.5 litre petrol is priced at $28,490 RRP for the six-speed manual, and $30,490 for the CVT automatic-equipped model.
As with the rest of the Koleos range, the Expression is equipped with six airbags, ESP, ABS and Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD).
Combined with height-adjustable pretensioner-equipped front seatbelts, the Koleos Expression carries a 5-Star Euro NCAP safety rating. It has not been tested locally for an ANCAP rating.
Comfort and convenience features include cruise control with a speed limiter, Bluetooth and Aux audio connectivity, steering-mounted stereo controls, air-conditioning and Renault's Smart Card Key.
Styling features include 17-inch alloy wheels, fog lights, body coloured bumpers, chrome effect on front and rear skid plates and a rear spoiler. Inside, the Expression gets dark charcoal cloth upholstery.
For August only, Renault is offering the Koleos Expression with a drive-away price of $29,990 for the six-speed manual with non-metallic paint.
