Get the best price on a new Mitsubishi Outlander
AROUND THIS TIME last year, Mitsubishi Australia released the special Outlander RX, limited to just 300 units. Based on the pre-facelift 2009 Outlander, the RX brought race-style cosmetic tweaks and a number of additional accessories.
Today, Mitsubishi has announced the latest offering in the line-up, in the form of the 2010 Mitsubishi Outlander RX.
Based on the LS variant of the updated 2010 Outlander, the new Outlander RX is limited to 500 units and offers a similar range of enhancements and additional extras.
Styling features include a redesigned front bumper and fog lights, 18-inch seven-spoke alloy wheels and unique side and rear air dams. Door handles get a silver painted finish, with other highlights including a chrome exhaust tip and privacy glass.
Inside, the Outlander RX offers a leather and sports mesh seat trim, silver painted floor console panels and chrome interior door handles. Bluetooth connectivity and 'smart key' keyless operation are also included.
The Outlander RX is powered by Mitsubishi's 2.4L MIVEC engine, paired with a CVT automatic transmission. Mitsubishi’s All Wheel Control 4wd System, Dual SRS airbags, ABS Brakes with EBD, Active Stability Control, Active Traction Control and Hill Start Control figure among the Outlander RX's standard features.
The Outlander RX is available now for $38,475 and is covered by Mitsubishi’s 5 year / 130,000km, 10 year/160,000km non-transferrable drive-train warranty and 5 year/130,000 roadside assist as standard.

but on the Outlander it just looks wrong..
Infact because the Headlights/Grille were designed for the Lancer - then was grafted onto the Outlander.. it makes the Outlander appear to be nothing more than a Lancer Wagon with AWD instead of being a sepperate individual model
I mean why not bolt the Lancer front end onto the Triton Pick-Up and Pajero 4x4 as well?
