WITH THE GENEVA Motor Show just two weeks away, Peugeot has today revealed its hand in the form of the 5 By Peugeot, a new diesel-electric Hybrid4 concept.
The 5 By Peugeot is expected to preview the upcoming 2011 Peugeot 508 sedan, set to replace both the 407 and the 608. Although it appears production ready, Peugeot has not confirmed the new concept as a preview of any specific model.
If this latest concept does offer a glimpse of the new 508 however, certain features - such as the snowflake LED headlights - are unlikely to make it to production.
Power for the 5 By Peugeot is derived from Peugeot's Hybrid4 diesel-electric hybrid system, comprised of a 122kW HDi FAP diesel engine and a rear-axle-mounted electric motor producing 23kW.
The Hybrid4 system has featured in a growing number of Peugeot and Citroen cars, including the recent Peugeot SR1 convertible concept, special RCZ and 3008 showcar models and a hybrid version of Citroen's C4 WRC rally car.

I like the look of the car... It looks a lot like the Opel Insignia

I absolutely hate every car/suv they have presently, all the proportions are wrong especially the front with it's wide mouth and headlights so huge they seem to be almost touching the A-pillars.
It's like the front quarter doesn't belong to the rest of the body structure.
