WITH THE STYLISH DS3 revealed and reports of a smaller DS2 in the works, Citroen is now set to unveil its newest upmarket offering, the DS4.

Featuring headlights inspired by the wagon-like 2005 C-Sportlounge concept, the DS4 was spied testing last month in what was presumed to be its more mainstream guise: the next-generation Citroen C4.

At this stage, the above image is all that Citroen has offered up, ahead of the DS4's anticipated Geneva unveiling.

Speaking at Frankfurt last year, Citroen’s product chief said the new C4 - upon which the DS4 is likely to be based - will be lighter and more efficient than its predecessor, with a three-cylinder engine to feature among its drivetrain options.

For now, we'll need to sit and see what Geneva brings.
