THE FIRST IMAGES of the undisguised 2010 Audi A1 have surfaced online this morning, captured during filming for the small car's upcoming screen debut.

Only partially obscured by new Audi ambassador Justin Timberlake, the A1 bears most of the usual Audi styling traits, along with headlights similar to those of the recently revealed Audi A8 sedan.

The silver door frames of the A1 Metroproject Concept are clearly visible on the undisguised production A1.

The filming - and JT's presence - form part of an upcoming internet and TV campaign to promote the German carmaker's newest offering, set to air in March next year.

The car itself is expected to get its official unveiling at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show, with European sales set to begin around April.

Audi has yet to reveal official technical details for the A1, although it is expected to share much of its components with the new Volkswagen Polo 5.

I did see the four rings, but maybe I should have added that it looked like a Lancer with 4 rings on the grill.

Remember though, Audi had that flat full size grille first. ;)
