Previously standard features, including leather trim, electrically adjustable and heated front seats, climate control air conditioning and a panoramic sunroof, remain.

The petrol powered midrange X-Trail STL picks up heated, electrically adjustable front seats and full leather seat trim. Steering wheel audio controls, Bluetooth and iPod connectivity and privacy glass figure among the STL's updated features.

STL pricing rises by $1000 for 2010, the six-speed manual priced from $37,720 and the CVT auto from from $40,240.

The X-Trail TS turbo diesel gains Bluetooth and iPod connectivity, steering-mounted controls and privacy glass. Pricing remains unchanged, starting at $37,740.

Base model X-Trail ST gets iPod connectivity, with pricing unchanged at $32,990.

Engine specifications remain unchanged, with a choice of 125kW petrol engine teamed to either a six-speed manual or CVT automatic transmission.

The 2.0 litre turbo diesel engine produces 127kW when paired with the six-speed manual transmission, and 110kW with the six-speed automatic.

All X-Trail models are fitted with dual front, side and curtain airbags and electronic stability control.

Nissan's intelligent, all-mode 4X4i four-wheel-drive system, featuring hill start assist and hill descent control, figures among the active safety features.
