Get the best price on a new car
MERCEDES-BENZ IS SET to unveil a new concept at next month's Detroit Auto Show, which design chief Gordon Wagener claims will preview the carmaker's future styling.
Like the F700 concept revealed at the 2007 Frankfurt Motor Show (above), which bore design elements that later appeared in production models, the new concept will feature long and exaggerated lines.
"We want to elevate our design towards art and if any company can do it Mercedes can," Wagener told Britain's Autocar magazine.
Wagener said that while the concept will offer a glimpse of the luxury brand's future look, it will not represent any particular upcoming model.
Mercedes is keeping specific details of the concept close to its chest, but more information is expected to be revealed in the lead-up to the Detroit show.

This has definately been designed with the American market in mind. Only they could appreciate something as ugly as this car.
