More photos of the 2008 Nissan Skyline GTR have surfaced and this time we can see in detail the new Godzilla’s styling and there is plenty to get excited about. Despite being a completely new design it somehow manages to exude the essence of GTR.

There is more good news in the engine department with standard GTR and V-Spec variants to be fitted with a 350Kw+ version of the VQHRTT V6 while the top of the pile Evo spec will pack 395kW from a more highly tuned version of the same engine.

The Evo spec GTR as been cutting back on the carbs and weighs in 100kg under the weight of the lower spec variants. The weight loss has reportedly been achieved by the fitment of lighter seats, carbon-fibre panels and ceramic brake rotors.

Assuming that these images are of the Evo spec GTR it appears to have additional ducting fore and aft of the rear wheels a more aggressive rear spoiler and lower lip extension on the front bar when compared to previous images shown on this site that you can see here 2008 Skyline GTR

Look out Porsche…
