A NEW VIDEO CLIP from supercarmaker McLaren reveals the first footage of its new MP4-12C in action, seen here in camouflage-livery during testing earlier this year.
Part one in a new series, Inside McLaren: Developing The MP4-12C follows Technical Director Dick Glover and Chief Test Driver Chris Goodwin as they walk us through the development of the supercar.
While Glover gives us a look around McLaren’s facilities at Woking in the UK - including the door to the company’s top secret F1 simulator - Goodwin talks about the tracks and climates used to test the MP4.
“Having to develop a brand new range of cars from scratch to the standards expected of McLaren, featuring ground-breaking new structures and powertrain is the ultimate challenge and one we are relishing,” Glover said.
“Sure, we have challenges – that is why we go to these places that absolutely push the cars to their limits and beyond.”

I’m sick of the photos being that same horrid metallic pumpkin colour, wish they would release some different ones. Other than that, I need to start buying Lotto tickets
