2010 Honda VFR1200F Revealed

HONDA HAS TODAY revealed the all-new 2010 Honda VFR1200F.

While it doesn’t yet feature the promised dual-clutch transmission (which is expected on a later higher-spec variant), the VFR1200F promises high-performance touring from its 76° 1237cc V4 producing 129kW at 10,000rpm and 115Nm of torque at 8750rpm.

Weighing in at 266kg, the VFR1200F will be one of the heavier sports-touring bikes on the market. Even heavier is the upcoming dual-clutch model, weighing a solid 278kg.

Honda has yet to offer any word on pricing for either the regular model or the up-specced dual-clutch equipped premium model.

Options will include hard panniers, a top box, centre-stand, satellite navigation, fairing extenders that reach up in front of the handlebars, and a flip-up weather screen.

Availability has not yet been announced, but an early 2010 launch is expected.
