GM Holden have added the VE Ute to its range of 60th Anniversary Special Edition models and plan to unveil the feature packed load lugger the National 4×4 Show in Brisbane this week.
The VE Ute 60th Anniversary Special Edition is based on the SV6 and boasts in excess of $2,000 of extra value, including leather faced seats and alloy foot pedals.
In addition to the standard SV6 accoutrements, the following additional features can be found in the Anniversary Special Edition:

• Bluetooth® connectivity for compatible mobile phones
• Sports profile steering wheel
• 6 disc in dash MP3 compatible CD player
• Alloy foot pedals
• 60th Anniversary floor mats
• 60th Anniversary badge on rear tailgate
Expected in dealerships mid-May, the VE Ute 60th Anniversary Special Edition is priced at $36,990* for the six-speed manual and $37,990* for the five-speed automatic.

Its a bit sad with only $2000 worth of extra’s compared to the other 60th models like the commodore which has got something like $7000 worth of extra’s. Could have atleast included reverse parking sensors.
