HONDA'S HERO CRF450R off-road racing bike, updated for the 2010 model year, is now available at Honda motorcycle dealers around Australia.

The CRF450R has come in for a number of small but significant tweaks to both the engine and suspension systems, aimed at enhancing balance and control.

According to Honda, new ECU programming and fuel injection settings bring improved off-on throttle response when exiting corners.

A new engine auto decompressor system has been designed to enable easier kick starting, and a new front fork oil seal and oil valving setup improves overall feel.

A redesigned piston and compression adjuster features in the rear damper, which Honda promises will bring a smoother ride and stronger acceleration over rugged terrain.

Minor tweaks have been made to the air filter attachment tabs, providing more secure installation. Likewise, a new connecting system for the HRC fuel injection setting tool eliminates the need to remove the fuel tank.

The 2010 Honda CRF450R is available now, priced at $11,990 (Manufacturer's List Price. Contact dealer for a quote).
