The Sky Is Falling: IS-F Trumps GT-R

lexus_is_f_800.jpg

While the idea that the Lexus IS-F could be a better car than the R35 Nissan GT-R may not be a universally held one, it certainly seems to be the case for the boys at AutoWeek. Is this merely an attempt to grab some attention? At risk of their credibility; not likely.

Interesting that the same car that has received mixed reviews—some extremely positive and others not so—could not only be straight up brilliant, but also more kingly than the current media darling, the GT-R. While the reviewer recognises the GT-R as the faster car, he describes the IS-F as a more satisfying drive. It’s been a generally agreed upon opinion that the IS-F is a harsh ride, so that’s an interesting new perspective.

Not possible. Sorry. Nup. No-way.

We’ll see how things fare when the IS-A arrives… it’ll be the 90s turbo battle taken to a whole new level! Europeans have been getting the spot light for too long, now it’s Japan’s turn…

The IS-iF….just as it states…..over a GT-R..pfffttt
not over an E92 M3 so certainly not the current GT-R .Nice cruiser…….hehehe

I’ve read and watched some very good reports about the new IS-F and judging by those articles - i believe Lexus has produced a very strong performance package and no-doubt will prove it.

My advice, you would be insane to under-estimate or critise the new ‘F’ series coming from Lexus.
