FORD AUSTRALIA HAS TODAY announced the new G6 Limited Edition, offering unique styling additions and thousands of dollars in equipment at no extra cost.

Externally, the G6 Limited Edition sets itself apart with G Series 18-inch alloy wheels and unique accents to the upper and lower grilles. There are also fog lamp bezels, a sporty rear bumper insert and a Limited Edition badge to round out the external tweaks.

"The G6 Limited Edition is a luxury car with a strong value proposition, which will further promote and strengthen the G Series brand," Ford Australia's Beth Donovan said.

if they transplanted the Taurus face on to it Ford might improve their sales.

The GE6 Turbo is what I would call the "Velvet Sledgehammer" oh so smooth and extremely fast. See latest Motor mag with minimum engine mods tune/exhast/injectors they had the GE6 Turbo doing 0-100 in the low 4 second range and low 12 sec 1/4's. All this while retaining excellent fuel economy, quietness of an inline 6 and a smooth fully loaded luxury ride.

Only thing I wish Ford would change. The roof lining. That off-white colour is so ugly and spoils the interior. They should change it to black on the whole falcon range and join 2009 like most other auto manufacturers.

Agreed with Jess on the colour issue.
