BETWEEN ALL THE concepts and brand-new models scheduled to appear at this year’s Frankfurt Motor Show (along with its own Vision EfficientDynamics concept), BMW is set to unveil a special limited edition version of its big M6 coupe.

Named the M6 Competition Limited Edition, the special M6 will be held to a run of just 100 cars, each with its own unique build identification plate in the roof-lining.

With no official images of the M6 Competition Limited Edition yet released, these photos of the ‘regular’ M6 in the new BMW Individual ‘Frozen Grey Metallic’ matte finish must suffice.

The full Merino leather interior of the M6 CLE will be available in either black or light grey two-tone colours with contrasting stitching. Custom floor mats bearing with the M6 Competition Limited Edition name will also feature.

Most importantly, the M6 CLE is not merely an exercise in style, with re-tuned suspension featuring revised springs, dampers and stabilisers expected to feature.

The ride height of the M6 CLE has also been lowered: 10mm at the front, and 12mm out back.

BMW is tight-lipped on specifics, pricing and availability, but expect more details at the car’s unveiling next week.
