MINI USA Launches Roadside Assist iPhone App

P90050428 MINI OWNERS in the USA are being offered a free application for their iPhone or BlackBerry which allows one-touch roadside assistance.

By pre-setting their personal details and vehicle information, MINI owners can quickly and easily call for assistance when required.

The application automatically pinpoints the car’s location and relays details of the service required to the nearest roadside service provider. Customers also have the option to press the call button to be connected to an operator.

By relaying information automatically, the system streamlines communication to MINI’s roadside assist provider, Allstate Roadside Services.

“As the exclusive provider of roadside assistance for MINI USA and a number of other prestigious auto brands, Allstate Roadside Services is proud to launch this application designed to enhance the MINI owner’s experience,” said Patrick O’Brien, President of Allstate Roadside Services.

Roadside Assist is offered free of charge to all MINI owners with a car still covered by manufacturer’s warranty in the USA.

Check out a short video of the Roadside Assist app below for more details on how the system works.
