Maserati presented their new performance flagship model, the GranTurismo S at this years Geneva Motor Show.
The two main changes to the GranTurismo to produce the new ‘S’ variant are the new 324kW/440hp V8 4.7- litre engine and electro-actuated gearbox. The new box features fast MC-Shift and is a transaxle layout.
The GranTurismo S also gets a new set of Brembo anchors that feature front brake discs made using dual-cast technology – a dual casting of cast iron and aluminium, paired with aluminium mono-bloc 6-piston brake callipers.
With a top speed of 295km/h this is the fastest Maserati production in the history of the marque.
