KIA HAS ANNOUNCED a value-packed limited edition Cerato, on sale now ahead of the model’s 2010 update.

Based on the Kia Cerato S Option Pack, the limited edition Cerato gets over $1200 of no-cost extras, including 15-inch five-spoke polished alloy wheels, a chrome grille frame and tailored front and rear floor mats.

The limited-edition Cerato features steering-mounted audio and cruise control, powered and heated door mirrors, keyless remote central locking, and MP3 and iPod compatible stereo with auxiliary input.

Powered by a 2.0 litre petrol engine developing 115kW of power and 194Nm of torque, the 2009 Kia Cerato is available with either a five-speed manual transmission or Kia’s Sportsmatic four-speed automatic.

Official fuel economy figures are rated at 7.8 l/100km on the combined cycle - a figure TMR’s long term road test of the Kia Cerato SLi has shown to be reasonably achievable.

Carbon emissions are rated at 186g/km with the manual transmission, and 187g/km for the four-speed automatic, achieving an Australian Government Green Vehicle Guide rating of 4.5 stars from a possible 5 stars.

The limited edition 2009 Kia Cerato is available in small numbers only, and is backed by Kia’s unlimited kilometre, five year warranty.
