In an era of mass-production it is pleasing to know that there are still coach builders out there (famous ones too) who delight in completely redesigning the products of manufacturers who have already spent millions honing and refining their designs.
The Bentley Continental GTZ is an example of one such massive makeover, by Italian coachbuilder Zagato. Zagato have started with a Bentley Continental GT Speed and turned the grand tourer into a mobile work of automotive art.
The Continental GTZ features a unique roofline with twin bubbles finished in silver that extends down the A and B pillars. The silver contrasts beautifully with the British Racing Green that covers the reworked front, rear and side metal-work.
The front guards feature sharply creased upper surfaces while the rear reeks of Italian elegance, with its finely curved, almost feminine looking surfaces.
We don’t know what it costs, or if you can even buy one but we do know that it makes an ordinary Bentley Continental GT Speed look…well…ordinary.
