Fifth Gear drive the Audi RS6 Avant

Here is our first look at a road test of the Audi RS6 Avant - Tiff Needel style. Audi have managed to stuff their Lamborghini derived 5.0-litre V10 under the hood of this rather tame looking family wagon. They even added a couple of turbos and the result is 426kW/580hp and 650Nm.

That almost ridiculous level of power is enough to see the 2025kg wagon lift up its bumpers and shuffle from 0-100 km/h in just 4.6 seconds. Not bad...and you can see it in the flesh at this years Melbourne Motor Show beginning on Feb 29.
