2010 Jaguar Goodwood Special XKR To Debut At Festival Of Speed

JAGUAR WILL BE giving its latest performance car, the "Goodwood Special" XKR, its first public appearance at the Goodwood Festival of Speed this month.

The British automaker is remaining tight-lipped about what sort of mechanical revisions will be made to the regular XKR's supercharged 5.0 litre V8, but it wouldn't be unreasonable to expect a modest increase over the standard car's 380kW output.

As you can see from this solitary image, the Goodwood Special XKR will bring huge 21-inch alloys, satin-finish exterior trim and a lime green colour that's just as lurid as the powerslides this car is capable of busting out.

The standard XKR can dispatch the 0-96km/h sprint in just 4.6 seconds. We'll have to wait until the gates open at Goodwood UK on July 3 to find out just how quick this special edition model is, but odds are it'll be the quickest big cat around.

The color doesn't appeal to me much. But the specs of this car is amazing.
